We walk through the Main City, the Old Suburb, the Lower City, Wrzeszcz, Nowy Port, Oliwa, places connected with `Solidarity,`former fortifications, churches, breweries, and quays. This isn’t a guide made up only of postcard views. In each walk, Gdansk is multi-layered: sometimes beautiful and obvious, sometimes challenging, inconspicuous, hidden behind modern buildings. So it’s worth paying close attention not just to the main sights while walking around.
